When people talk about inspirational figures in the trance genre, many people might think of names such as Paul Van Dyk, Judge Jules and Armin Van Buuren. Delve a little deeper though and there are a few names which one day will be at the top of line-ups fit for the festivals and in the meantime are truly worth seeking for that Inspiration. One of these artists is a man we are proud to have headlining our March party, who goes by the name of Ben Nicky. Three years ago, Ben set up his label Abstract, and by his second release had become a firm favourite with big trance jocks around the globe.
Regularly receiving support from the aforementioned superstars and all of their contemporaries, Radio 1 air time and gigs around the world, Ben really has enjoyed a phenomenal journey so far as both a DJ and producer. It’s not just his unbridled talent that makes him stand out and guarantees a steady rise to the top of his game, but also his passion for the scene and his sure, but far from arrogant personality and eagerness to make people dance. Interview with Aulday ahead of Puzzle Project on Saturday 27th February!

Carrying on as we mean to go on in 2010 at Puzzle Project HQ means we are constantly searching high an low to give you, the clubber something that bit more exciting musically, and certainly something that we hope, one day, you plan to tell the grandchildren about.
This month we have very familiar name from the UK psychedelic scene headlining in the shape of Aulday, who helps run the psy arm or that fast growing label, Presence. He’s certainly got his head screwed on the right way, and knows exactly what he think, likes and wants to shout about. Read on to find out more...

Some people need no introduction. Itís one of the oldest clichÈís in any interviewerís notebook. On this occasion I happen to be more than comfortable using it ñ but only because Iím interviewing Phil Reynolds, Frantic legend, Puzzle Project resident and all round trance supremo! Ahead of his headlining set at Puzzle Project on the 27th February, I caught up with Phil to see what heís been up to in the past year and what heís got in store for Puzzle fans on the 27th.

Anybody who has been into dance music for a number of years will tell that the life-cycle genres can certainly be a real roller coaster ride, full of ups and downs of varying degrees. One style that seems to have held strong over time though is the seemingly unstoppable force that is trance! There are still a number of events pulling in the punters regularly, and the big names in this particular area of the scene are still the ones who top the polls as certainly the most popular DJs on the world stage.With this in mind it seems only natural for new brands and names to take up position within the hierarchy, but not many can boast almost instant success and recognition like Red Sky Digital.
