The start of 2013 could not be going any better for this rapidly rising superstar. With a Toolroom Knights residency now under his belt, support for his music from some of the biggest DJ’s on the Planet, performances around the World at some of the scenes coolest clubs plus numerous chart smashers on Beatport, Matt Smallwood is more definitely one to watch out for in 2013!

Named Carl Cox’s producer of the year Matt has enjoyed huge success on the production front with over 40 single releases and 20 remixes on some of the World’s most prestigious labels. His release ‘Perfect Sunrise’ has proved to be one of the highlights of his production career so far after being snapped up by super House label Toolroom Records in 2009.

Matt continued the momentum from here and has since released several more tracks on his resident label Toolroom Records as well as remixing for many others. He has recently written a collaboration EP with Greek superstar Mihalis Safras and has remixed one of the most in-demand artists on the Underground House and Tech House scene, Wehbba.

Recently tipped by Toolroom head honcho Mark Knight as ‘definately one to watch in 2013’, it comes as no surprise to learn that Matt has become a firm fixture within the Toolroom family with a Toolroom Knights residency confirmed. Matt has confirmed upcoming gigs at the legendary ‘Gallery’ at Ministry Of Sound London, Station Club in Zurich as part of his Toolroom residency and he recently took part in Gatecrashers 4th birthday celebrations where he warmed up 2,500 people for Mark knight!

With an arsenal of new music ready to be unleashed onto the World’s dance floors via the biggest labels in 2013, and with the momentum that surrounds him at the moment, Matt is one of the most exciting artists the UK has to offer at the moment!
