Puzzle Project – 24/04/2010

Last month saw yet more proof of our dedication to bringing you the finest DJs playing top notch music, as well as new artists doing erm… exactly the same. Massive thanks to Ben Nicky, Lee Osborne and N-Kore for entertaining the dance floor at the last party in March!

This month brings more of the same quality from our residents and two quality guests playing some of the finest underground music around….

Mark Day ::
Mark Day is a name known across the psychedelic scene as one of the best new boys to keep an eye on. Having cut his teeth in the scene following his first trip to a squat party in 2008, his steady rise through the ranks has seen him play internationally in Australia and get signed by Auralphonix as well as getting bookings at the legendary Illuminaughty.

B.S.E ::
Our next guest is no stranger to the 414 and a well respected face on the London circuit for years now. Zoology’s BSE is a master of all things tech and that’s what we can expect at Puzzle. You can expect a set true to his set time, where ever we put him in the line-up and you can expect it to rock yours, ours and everybody’s socks off.

Phil Reynolds ::
Phil Reynolds is our very own international superstar DJ who has played all over the globe from Europe to Japan. The original Frantic resident joined us as a resident little over a year ago and so far it’s been an opportunity for our regulars to hear some of the best tech, though driving, to hard trance. His sets for us at the 414 are the little different to his norm so if you haven’t checked him out at Puzzle, you’d better get your arse in gear…

Phil Lankester AKA Libra 9 ::
Our other Phil is hot on Mr Reynolds’ tail in the superstar status wars. Harderfaster’s DJ of the year 2009, Phil Lankester (aka Libra9) has earned himself a residency at superclub Matter and has all manner of massive gigs lined up for the next 12 months already. This really is the year for the co-founder of Puzzle, and he’ll be showing again, just why that is.

Matt Church ::
Our very own trance-maestro, Matt Church is all set to dig down deep for the best in euphoric beats again, no doubt with some fresh material from his quickly growing label Red Sky! Matt’s tracks have been getting massive support from the biggest names in trance recently, and hearing this quality of music in an intimate setting really is something to look forward too.

April ::
This month see the release of April’s collaboration with her hard dance fellow resident Gordon Darley, ‘Little Cindy’ on the massive Toolbox imprint. She’s in our eyes one of the most passionate and best female DJs on the circuit and always a pleasure to hear.

Ali Cantor & L.K ::
Our latest additions to the residents team are offering back to back gold this month. Ali Cantor and LK were chosen for their love of all things quality and of trance. They are about equally nifty behind the decks too.

There’s no excuses – make sure you don’t miss London’s biggest small party!
