Halcyon, Video of last event: Ticon Interview, Fri 12th March with Phil Lankester

____ Halycon | Friday 12th March 2010 @ Matter ____

CHECK OUT THE VIDEO OF LAST EVENT AT MATTER NOV 2009

Simon Posford is Hallucinogen and one half of mega psy band Shpongle. He is the twisted lone
deranger that warped a generation. To be honest he needs no introduction, he's been ravaging dance
floors and opening minds for years. He has two studio albums under this name but countless other
equally brilliant releases on Twisted Records. This man is probably responsible for over half of the best psychedelic releases ever. Hallucinogen's debut album 'twisted', released in 1995, set the standard for
the then burgeoning trance scene, showing him to be a true pioneer and master of his art.

If that’s not enough we have legendary progressive psychedelic trance duo from Sweden
TICON LIVE and one of the original pioneers EAT STATIC LIVE!!!

Ticon have been on the wish list of Halcyon's forward thinking, genre busting promoters since
Matter first agreed to break the mould and host a different type of Electronic event back in June.

While Halcyon has booked some more well known acts like Astrix and Infected Mushroom they
are equally passionate about the two talented producers from Sweden that have been giving
Ticon an unbeatable reputation over the last decade as one of the most innovative yet lush
sounding trance acts in the World. If you only go to one Trance event this year make sure you check
the set times and check out Ticon at Halcyon. In room 2 hosted by AlphaOmega in association with
ArchAngel we announce the full line-up with very special guest TIM HEALEY showcasing his new
label Giant Pussy Records!
