Puzzle Project – 09/05/2008

Well, well, well, what a corker April’s party was? As has been expressed to us by many of you, the music was top-notch all night long. As promised, something different was delivered by Francesco Caci, with his sound proving to be a hit on the night, this is definitely something you’ll be hearing more of from us in the future! Massive thanks also to Nick Rafferty who squeezed in the time to play for us before jetting off to Spain to look after the massive Cream event out there, along with Elvis who delivered a classic set like he did every month when he was a resident at the 414. it was almost like he never left! Also, massive props to Victoria Ling who played a great set, this little one is certainly a name to watch out for in the future.

But that’s enough back slapping for now, as we are sure all you really want is to feast your eyes and ears on the selection of DJ talent we have lined up for our next party on Friday the 9th of May!

Headlining we have true hard dance hero; former A&R man at Nukleuz, head honcho of Riot! Recordings and www.trackitdown.net, the mastermind behind the hard dance awards and all round party animal… Of course, we can only be talking about Mr Ed Real! After personally approaching us for another set at Puzzle Project, Ed will be tearing a new arsehole into our beloved 414 with what promises to be a rip-roaring psy-trance set exclusive for Puzzle-Project which we can’t wait for. Make sure you don’t miss this exclusive journey through the most mesmerising music known to man!

Our next guest is another infamous party professional and the brains behind the new and already fast rising label, Diablo Traxx. The undisputed saviour of that party at SeOne last year, Ajay, will be gracing our presence and showing off tracks from Diablo Head Office as well as (he’d hope) causing untold trouble on the dance-floor… All hail the ginger whippet!

Completing the roster of guest tonight, we welcome back the infamous Dean Zone. Making some serious noise on the scene of late with his European Hard Trance sound as well as scoring a massive hit with the award winning party Magnetix of late, he will be closing the night the only way he knows how; with an almighty bang!

As usual you can count on our trusty residents to provide you with all the fillings needed to make this the perfect recipe; after drawing massive amounts of praise for his closing set last month, Phil Lankester returns to showcase more of his Psy Trance sound that is becoming a firm favourite with the Puzzle massive. Ben Bennett will be back once again to show just why Steve Blake and Phil Reynolds appointed him head of A & R for Impact recordings, along with resident Techno head Gordon Darley and the king of all things Trance, Matt Church.

Don’t forget that the official Puzzle Project after party reFre5h will also be on hand if you still want more come 6am, details TBC.

Don’t be the missing piece…
