Puzzle Project – 10/10/2008

And so it begins… Year 4 is upon us, as we grab it by the balls and continue our campaign to keep Puzzle Project on the map as London’s greatest ever intimate party!!!

If you missed our 3rd birthday you can congratulate yourselves on missing the finest party in 414 history, with a mighty set of residents joined by 3 of the biggest hitters in dance music. Some recordings from the night can be heard on national radio later in the year and we will keep you happy clappers posted on this!

So here it is, October’s offering:

Headlining on this cool autumn eve we have none other than Traffic Records head honcho Scott Attrill aka Vinylgroover! This is Scott’s second outing with Puzzle Project, and as before he will push our sound system to its limits with his bass driven groovy hard dance that only he can deliver. No doubt a bag full of upfront material will be the order of the day.

Next up is uber-producer, audio genius and general mischief maker Mr Greg Brookman. After a short spell away from the scene to re-charge his hard dance batteries, he came back with an immense new live show in the form of IGNITE!! For anyone who saw Gregs ALIVE PA in arenas such as main stage at Brixton Academy, expect even greater things from this performance, looping, remixing, creating, manipulating tracks right there and then! This man will be keeping you on your toes!

Our next guest is no stranger to the music scene having been raised on the sound of Goa Trance for most of his life, this man has gone on to carve a real name for himself in the Psy Trance world. Sutekh is London’s favourite Psy Trance son and can be found normally tearing apart great Psy events such as Antiworld, but has been quoted recently to say he prefers the underground scenes. Well Sutekh, welcome to Puzzle Project!

As a party dedicated to bringing you the best line-ups, in an intimate setting, we believe that a great party is built on one thing; its foundations!
Puzzle’s foundations are its resident DJs, which from day one have brought nothing but excellence to Puzzle Project parties.

After breaking his Live PA cherry last month, Ben Bennett returns to the more familiar role of DJ this month although we suspect he may not have given us his last live performance. Our man behind the label Impact Recordings, is going to be slamming out the most upfront hard trance the scene has to offer!!

Phil Lankester also takes a break from his Libra 9 guise this month to step back behind the decks for a show stopping experience of technical wizardry. Is he human? We doubt it! Not the way he uses the equipment! Watch out Sutekh, London has a new Psy Star hot on your heels!

Matt Church, one third of the Puzzle Founder’s will be here to deliver a cutting edge trance set and will be celebrating the release of his first track ‘Deep Space’ written with Kevin Shepherd out on Essential Recordings! A sure fire winner so make sure you pick it up if you are lovers of the trance sound!

And then we have Gordon Darley our in house Hard House/Techno monster who can also be found writing on the pages of iDJ magazine making sure that you the general public know what is hot and what is not from hard dance releases across the spectrum. This man’s opinion counts as he knows his stuff!

Now, have I missed anyone?…

No party is complete without its supporters so we thank you all MASSIVELY for a huge 3rd birthday last month and look forward to seeing you back with us for this little handful of artists above!
See you on the 10th!!!
