Puzzle Project – 12/12/2008

The year 2008 has been a mammoth time for Puzzle Project which has been going from strength to strength bringing you some of the top names to the scene at our friendly home in the 414. We have been privileged to have introduced a huge cocktail of genres and DJ’s with the likes of Dajavoo, Vinylgroover, Darren Tate, BK, Organ Donors, Ali Wilson and Ed Real to mention a few and also to showcase some of the UK’s up and comers before most other promotions.

For the last party of 2008 we have decided to showcase one of our residents for the first time as these guys are what really make the party what it is with their individual enthusiasm and unique styles. First up to headline the show, we bring you the hard trance ambassador himself, co promoter of Puzzle and Impact records big man, the one and only Mr Ben Bennett. Ben will be playing his second ever “LIVE PA”. His first was at the Puzzle 3rd birthday back in September which was recorded and aired on Kiss FM and is one that really went down in Puzzle Project history.

Our first guest of the night is a young 19 year old lad that goes under the name Iridium. If you keep much of an eye on the production world, you’ll see that he is everywhere and doing more than his share in the past year to shape hard dance music to what it is today. So we thought it was only right, that in true puzzle style, to get him down for one of his first ever London gigs. He can then show London just what he’s made of!!

Ashley James, part of the mighty Magnetix, has done a load for the scene over the years and has gained great support and praise from some of the world’s leading producers and we’re lucky enough to have him down to grace the decks for the last time for six months before he heads off overseas. Joining Ashley will be another member of the Magnetix crew, the king of dirty sounds, Dean Zone to show you just why he has been securing set after set recently including his own show on DI FM.

The night wouldn’t be complete without the remaining three Puzzle residents to support our resident headliner this month. Psy Trance guru Phil Lankester will be performing another of his spectacular LIVE sets under his Libra 9 guise. Matt Church who recently joined the Vision Control team will be showing London some of most uplifting and driving trance on the planet and turning Puzzle into a frenzy. Last, but by no means least, is the guy that drives the fuzzy hair into hard house, IDJ magazine’s hard dance reviewer and party animal himself, Mr Gordon Darley!!

Unfortunately, December will be our last party for two months as the 414 will be closed at the beginning of January so that they can make more continual improvements to the club. We will be returning and holding our first party of 2009 in our usual monthly slot on Friday 13th February!!

We hope you can make it down to see out 2008 in true Puzzle Project style!
